Susan Hunt Stevens
Susan is the Founder of Practically Green, married to Peter, and mom to a 2 year old adopted recently from Vietnam, a five year old obsessed with all things baseball, and a rescue-dog named Annie. She is also one class away from finishing her graduate program in sustainable design from the Boston Architectural College and sitting for the LEED exam.
Some combination of her son’s food allergies, the movie Happy Feet, and the experience trying to do a “green” remodel of an 1896 home outside of Boston led to a passionate (and yes, at times a little geeky) interest in the trials and triumphs of living green.
Favorite green action taken: becoming a “beta home” for Climate Energy’s co-generation system
Least favorite green action taken: composting. I just can’t get over the flies…..
Working on: joining a CSA and planting a garden
